Sometimes, when we decide to make lifestyle changes, we face opposition or even persecution from our loved ones. This is no different during the journey of a disciple of Jesus Christ. The original disciples who followed Jesus, in the flesh, abandoned their lives to pursue His earthly commision. Much the same, God is calling a new generation of people to leave their old way of life behind, promising that in the new they will find rewards that far exceed any they have ever obtained – the greatest being eternal fellowship with Him. | |
